DAY 330: Dress-Up Day!

Madison's class had to dress up as a Dr. Seuss character.
She was Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas,
and Ethan's class had to dress up as clowns. :)

And of the course the little girls had to have something too.
It only lasted for about 20 minutes, and then they were trying to take
it off already. Oh well, it was cute while it lasted. :)

DAY 329: Mrs. Santa Claus

I don't normally have santa suits in the house, but the kids had
dress up day at school, and buying a really cheap santa suit was
the easiest way to make Madison's costume. :)

DAY 327: Monkeys

So good!

DAY 326: I LIke Spray Paint

DAY 325:

Feeling ok for awhile. She got
better for a day or two but it didn't last very long. A few days
later she was back down with a fever and some nasty coughing. :S

DAY 324: And Still Sick...

DAY 323: My Sick Little Girl

In the last few weeks this girl has only had a few days when
she hasn't been sick. I am so looking forward to when she's better again.
She seems to catch anything and everything that's going around.

DAY 322: It's A Winter Wonderland

So pretty! But it's even prettier when the sky is blue, which we
haven't seen a lot of these last few weeks. :P

DAY 321: So Mature

DAY 320: A Black Eye

She somehow ran into another little girl at a friends house,
and ended up with a black eye.

DAY 319: Jewelry

The lady Byron is doing work from right now, asked me to send some
of our jewelry to work with him so that she could take it
to work with her and sell some for me. I thought that
sounded pretty good! :)

DAY 318:

Another late night shot of my dresser from my phone.

DAY 316: It's Backwards Mom! :)

DAY 314: Another Middle Of The Night Flu

And the second one got hit by the flu in the middle of the night four
nights after the first one. This time I was the lucky one who
got to stay up. Thankfully she was only up till just before 3. :P
I'm really hoping the other two kiddos are not going to get it, but I'm sure
that's hoping for a lot.

DAY 314: Disappointment

We had an open house at our place so we had to leave for a few hours.
We took the kids out for lunch, and told them that if they
listened really good we would go swimming afterwards. Kaelynn
and Nadiya however had a really hard time with this, so Byron told them
that they weren't going to be allowed to go. Needless to say, Kaelynn
was rather upset about this. :(

 ----------------------------------------------------------
The fact that she wasn't going to get to go swimming went right over
miss Nadiya's head until I dropped Byron and the two oldest kids off at the pool.
Once she realized she wasn't going her calmness disappeared and she turned
into a screaming, angry, upset little girl.

DAY 313: GEMS

Madison is in GEMS for the first time this year, and is
absolutely loving it. This time they made
bags out of shirts and decorated them with stickers.

DAY 312: Hit By The Flu

I don't know why, but my kids always seem to get hit by the flu in the
middle of the night. The poor girl was up till 4 in the morning, and then
spent pretty much all of the next day fast asleep on the couch. I do have
to admit to having a wonderful husband who sent me off to bed and sat
up with her.

DAY 311: Flowers From Mr. Wonderful

DAY 310: A Toilet Paper Pumpkin

Kaelynn got off the bus holding her pumpkin, telling
me that she had made me some toilet paper. :) She did clarify
later by letting me know that the toilet paper was inside of the
pumpkin.

DAY 309: At Least It's Something

DAY 308: Gluten-Free at Superstore

We were in the city and made at stop at Superstore on the way out.
This is what I found there in the bakery section. I was quite excited to
try them, but I have to admit to not being completely overwhelmed
by deliciousness when I did eat them. Sigh. I had so much hope for them.
I think out of the three, the muffins were the best.

DAY 307: Hawaiian Tropics

I would love to be able to say we're going to somewhere tropical but we're
not. It's just the smell of a candle. It did smell very nice though. :)

DAY 305: Bad News & Good News

I broke it. I was making pizza dough, and the bowl popped out,
the beater got stuck and then stopped turning. Thanks
to the wonderful internet (in this case YouTube) I found
a video that showed me step by step how to take it apart.
The bad news: one of the gears was destroyed with chunks off of it.
The good news: All I have to do is buy a rather cheap part and my
mixer will be in use again. So relieved! I would have been
so upset if I had broken it for good. :S
