DAY 304: Happy Birthday Madison!

Our oldest turned 8 today. Love this girl to pieces. She can be
overly dramatic at times,
(which I usually blame on Byron's side of the family. ;))
but she has a heart of gold. She can be incredibly thoughtful and
is full of random hugs. Can't wait to see her grow up, but at the
same time, it's sad to think how fast time flies. We are incredibly
blessed to have her as a part of our family.

DAY 303: A Rather Large Chunk of Ice

Just in case you were wondering, this is what happens when you don't
close the outside tap all the way. Oooops!
And I don't know how much worse it would have gotten if our friendly
neighbour lady hadn't coming knocking on the door to let us know. :)

DAY 302: Brrrr!

DAY 300: Getting Ready For Bed

DAY 299

DAY 298: Snow Season

And along with snow season comes having to reteach my kids how
to put their things away properly. Sigh.

DAY 297

I don't know what she was doing.

DAY 296

DAY 295

We've been incredibly blessed these last few months, as Byron
has been working basically next door. Unfortunately, we've
had to get back to reality recently, and he is now working
more than an hour away. This also means that my nice break from
making his lunches has come to an end.

DAY 294: Christmas Is Coming

DAY 293: Nasty Cold

I got hit by a nasty cold in this last while. It got so bad I was coughing
every couple minutes for a few days. Not fun. I'd like to say
Benylin came to the rescue, but unfortunately it was night time
stuff and instead of making me stop coughing it just made me feel a
little loopy.

DAY 292:

We had some family over for Byron's birthday. I sent Byron to get some
pop and I think maybe 3 of the Sprites were used. So now we're going
to have a box of Sprite in our house for the next year since neither
of us drink it.

DAY 291: Ethan & Caden's Birthday Party

Yeah, I know. Worst picture ever. But it's the only picture
I seem to have managed to get of my son at his birthday party. :P

DAY 290: Little Artist

This is Nadiya's drawing of her mama. Byron says it's a good
likeness, but I'm pretty sure I do not have three noses!

DAY 289: Happy Birthday!

My wonderful husband turned 29! He's getting closer to that 30 year mark! ;)
The kids picked out this toque for him, and Madison insisted that
they had to take the cost of it out of their money jar because
otherwise it wasn't really from them. :)

DAY 288: Just Too Tired

I think it's so funny when kids are so tired they fall asleep
in the middle of eating. She continued for a couple minutes, half asleep,
slowly raising a bite to her mouth, and then slowly letting it fall down again,
all the while her eyes were closed. Too cute!

DAY 287: It's Another Sad Day

DAY 286: Curlers

They girls found these lovely pink curlers in the back of the bathroom
cupboard and requested that I put them in their hair. I told them I
would do it Saturday night so they could have curly hair on Sunday.
Kaelynn made it till morning, but Nadiya lasted just until she went to bed
and then she started taking them out. Sigh. It worked
out really well in Kaelynn's hair, but of course I forgot to take a picture
on Sunday. :P

DAY 285: Bubble Wrap

Looking for a way to occupy your child? Just give them a piece of bubble wrap
and it will keep them busy for a long time! So much fun!

DAY 284: The Cartoon Classics

Ethan and Madison have been making cartoon books lately.
Madison's title says 'The Cartoon Classics'. Not sure
where they got the idea from.

DAY 283: First Snow of the Year!

We had a light dusting of snow, and they girls were out there by 10am,
with all their snow gear on. Kaelynn was getting ready to throw a snowball at
me. Good thing I was safely inside, behind the door. :)

DAY 282

DAY 281:

I asked my sister-in-law to take a few quick pictures of us for
our annual Christmas cards. :) I'm not going to put up the actual family
pictures but here's a couple other ones.

DAY 280: Tomatoes

Byron came home with a bagful of tomatoes the other day.
I'm hoping they'll ripen if I leave them out long enough.

DAY 279: I'm dirty Mommy!

DAY 278: Happy Birthday Nadiya!

She's getting so old!

DAY 277

Chocolate all over her after licking off one of the mixing spoons.
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kaelynn has had fevers off and on for the last week and a half. She'll
go for a few days without and then will have one for a few hours and then
it's gone again. You can kind of see it in her eyes here that
she wasn't feeling the greatest when I took this picture. They don't have
their usual sparkle.

DAY 276

Dressing up in doll clothes and pretending she's a princess. These
doll clothes are from a doll I got from my parents when I was
a little girl. :)

DAY 275: Wacky Day

All dressed up in their wacky, crazy, mismatched clothes.
Nadiya felt a little left out, but since I was going grocery shopping
that morning, I was mean and didn't let her have pink hair. :)

DAY 274: Finished!

Done and done. Now to enjoy it for a few months! :)

DAY 273

Reading their books on a Sunday afternoon.

DAY 272: Ummmm...
