I've been wanting one of these for a couple of years. I just never got around to
it. A few months ago I finally got around to actually buying the piece of
wood that I needed for it, and this week I managed to finish our new
height ruler. The kids were quite excited to see how tall they all are. I
found some of the kids old medical papers and added their old heights in
as well, just so they could see how much they've grown.
looks good! and that is a neat idea!
ReplyDeletegood job Rachel, your are so talented!
ReplyDeleteawesome Rachel! was wanting to do the same thing, just havent gotten around to it ;)
ReplyDeleteyou are talented, its true!! how much would i have to pay you to make one for me??? ;) (i'd try, but i'm not nearly as crafty as you!!!)
ReplyDeleteLove it! How did you do the numbers and lines?
ReplyDeleteHi Karina! I printed the numbers onto paper, rubbed pencil on the back and then traced the numbers on my board (pencil side down) Then I just took a sharpie marker and filled them in. I used a ruler and the sharpie for the lines.
