DAY 350:
Kaelynn celebrated her birthday with her kindergarten class. I
brought along some christmas chocolates for her to pass out,
(I was mother helper that day), and the kids sang Happy Birthday to her.
I think it was the highlight of her week.
DAY 351: I See Blue Sky!
So far this year, we've had a cold, grey winter. So when
the sun finally did come out, I thought I'd better get a picture of it.
DAY 349: Something's Missing!
Ethan just lost his first tooth! He was pretty excited. It fell out at school
and he had wrapped it up in paper towel to take home. However,
soon after he was home, his mother broke his heart when she
accidentally vacuumed it up. Who even does that??? Sorry
Ethan... but at least the tooth fairy still came! It totally made up for it!

DAY 346: Mother - Daughter Night
It was Mother-Daughter night at Gems. :)
There was face masks, hand scrub, we put
on nail polish and had some yummy snacks. It was a
nice evening.
Madison with her face mask on. I don't think she loved
this part, she wanted it off pretty quick.
DAY 345: Early Christmas Present
We bought Byron his Christmas present when we were in the city
the other day. So far I think he's enjoying it quite a lot.
DAY 342: Triple Check
I did something really dumb. I had spilled hot chocolate, and some got
in my purse, so I took everything out and threw it in the wash. When I
went to pull it out of the washing machine
I noticed all these funny little white pieces of paper and my heart sank.
I knew right away what it was. I had somehow missed the rolled of 50 $1.05
stamps I had just bought...and now they were all scattered around in my washing
machine. I spent some time trying to get every single stamp I could find. In the end
I did manage to find most of them, but there are still about four stamps
missing in action. Sigh. Next time I will triple check my purse before
I throw it in the wash. :S
DAY 338: Madison's Sleepover
Madison was really excited to finally have a party for her birthday. It was only
over a month late! She wanted to have a sleepover instead of a party, which
I was totally fine with! :) She had two of her friends from school over, and I
have to say that I don't think they did anything but giggle.
DAY 332: Folding Laudry
Madison wanted to play a card game with me, but
I still had a lot of work to do, so she decided to help me out
by bringing up the laundry from downstairs and folding it all. :)
DAY 331:
I think I've been falling behind a little bit. :S
I'm so looking forward to being done this one a day thing! :)

DAY 330: Dress-Up Day!
Madison's class had to dress up as a Dr. Seuss character.
She was Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas,
and Ethan's class had to dress up as clowns. :)
And of the course the little girls had to have something too.
It only lasted for about 20 minutes, and then they were trying to take
it off already. Oh well, it was cute while it lasted. :)
DAY 329: Mrs. Santa Claus
I don't normally have santa suits in the house, but the kids had
dress up day at school, and buying a really cheap santa suit was
the easiest way to make Madison's costume. :)

DAY 325:
Feeling ok for awhile. She got
better for a day or two but it didn't last very long. A few days
later she was back down with a fever and some nasty coughing. :S
DAY 323: My Sick Little Girl
In the last few weeks this girl has only had a few days when
she hasn't been sick. I am so looking forward to when she's better again.
She seems to catch anything and everything that's going around.
DAY 322: It's A Winter Wonderland
So pretty! But it's even prettier when the sky is blue, which we
haven't seen a lot of these last few weeks. :P
DAY 319: Jewelry
The lady Byron is doing work from right now, asked me to send some
of our jewelry to work with him so that she could take it
to work with her and sell some for me. I thought that
sounded pretty good! :)

DAY 314: Another Middle Of The Night Flu
And the second one got hit by the flu in the middle of the night four
nights after the first one. This time I was the lucky one who
got to stay up. Thankfully she was only up till just before 3. :P
I'm really hoping the other two kiddos are not going to get it, but I'm sure
that's hoping for a lot.
DAY 314: Disappointment
We had an open house at our place so we had to leave for a few hours.
We took the kids out for lunch, and told them that if they
listened really good we would go swimming afterwards. Kaelynn
and Nadiya however had a really hard time with this, so Byron told them
that they weren't going to be allowed to go. Needless to say, Kaelynn
was rather upset about this. :(
----------------------------------------------------------
The fact that she wasn't going to get to go swimming went right over
miss Nadiya's head until I dropped Byron and the two oldest kids off at the pool.
Once she realized she wasn't going her calmness disappeared and she turned
into a screaming, angry, upset little girl.
DAY 313: GEMS
Madison is in GEMS for the first time this year, and is
absolutely loving it. This time they made
bags out of shirts and decorated them with stickers.
DAY 312: Hit By The Flu
I don't know why, but my kids always seem to get hit by the flu in the
middle of the night. The poor girl was up till 4 in the morning, and then
spent pretty much all of the next day fast asleep on the couch. I do have
to admit to having a wonderful husband who sent me off to bed and sat
up with her.
DAY 310: A Toilet Paper Pumpkin
Kaelynn got off the bus holding her pumpkin, telling
me that she had made me some toilet paper. :) She did clarify
later by letting me know that the toilet paper was inside of the
pumpkin.
